Rough Night

Hailey had a bad night last night. She is back on her epinephrine. Her heart rate and oxygen saturation levels keep dropping and she is not staying stable. They did some cultures and we will find out later on if it's just an infection. If it's not an infection, we're not too sure how well she is going to do. Please keep praying for our little angel.

  2. Hi, I stumbled across your blog and thought I'd send a quick comment to let you know I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers! My daughter, Mary Clare, now 2 years old, was also diagnosed in utero with HLHS. We, too, had a long road but she is doing so well now! A typical two-year-old keeping me on my toes!

It helps to see other heart kiddos making it and thriving. I know you have read other heart stories, most scary, most sad and I wanted to show you that some can end very happily! Just know that little Hailey can pull through this! If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to contact me! The heart world becomes pretty small as well. We all seem to get to "know each other" through the web. (Although Katie and Maddie from the comment above are from Washington State, I "know" them well. We have even called each other...and I'm from South Carolina!) Take care and I'll be checking in on little Hailey! Kerri adn Mary Clare
